Origin
The raspberry (Rubus idaeus) is native to Europe and Asia and is one of nature's most antioxidant-rich fruits. Both the fruit extract and the cold-pressed raspberry seed oil are used in cosmetics. Raspberry seed oil has a natural SPF of approximately 28–50, making it one of the few plant oils with natural UV protection.
Production
The extract is obtained by gentle extraction from raspberry fruits. The oil is produced by cold-pressing raspberry seeds to preserve all valuable active ingredients.
Effect on the skin
